An essential part to design is to play around with ideas and find which is best for the project.

The first copy is never the best. But improvement and learning will make it better.

Bi-fold? Tri-fold? Landscape? Portrait?

This were the questions that came to mind as I embarked on designing the brochures.

I sat down and sketched out my ideas and kept going back to pen and paper as it was easier to visualize. Don't mind the ugly drawings, that should be the next skill I learn!

After planning how I would like to design the brochures, I embarked on learning how to use some functions on Adobe Photoshop, using the resources that I previously found in my previous research.

Having to ask someone else for feedback was one thing I used to struggle with, I was afraid of receiving negative feedback. I mustered the courage to write to my mentors for feedback on my designs, knowing that it would be constructive.

Receiving feedback on each draft, to improve on the design. My mentor and classmates were very helpful with giving constructive feedback and encouragement.

These were some of the verbal feedback and affirmation from my classmates:

"It is nice. However, the colours seem to be conflicting." - Classmate

"The design is attractive, will definitely pick it up in a clinic!" - Another classmate

Email from one of my mentors, Dr Teo.

Feedback screenshots from the other mentor, Dr Tay.

Here's a snippet of the design and it's progress!
